The Makita XGH02ZK is an 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Variable Temperature Heat Gun (Tool Only). This cordless heat gun delivers the power and performance of a corded model with variable temperature control (120°F - 1200°F in 10°F increments) and 3 airflow levels for precise heating applications like paint stripping, shrinking tubing, thawing frozen pipes, bending plastics, and light soldering. Powered by a Makita-built high-speed motor with digital display for easy temperature and airflow adjustments, it features overload protection, cool-down mode for safe storage, and a lightweight ergonomic design. Part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® system with Star Protection Computer Controls™ for overload, over-discharge, and overheat protection.
