The Makita XRJ05Z is an 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Recipro Saw (Tool Only). This powerful reciprocating saw delivers faster cutting with a Makita-built variable 2-speed Brushless Motor that provides 0-2,300 (Low) and 0-3,000 (High) strokes per minute combined with a long 1-1/4" stroke length for increased cutting efficiency and performance. It features a "tool-less" blade change system for faster blade installation and removal, rubberized soft grip handle for increased comfort, and a compact, ergonomic design. Ideal for demolition, remodeling, wood/metal cutting, plumbing, and general construction tasks. Part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® system with Star Protection Computer Controls™ for overload, over-discharge, and overheat protection. The brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes for longer life, cooler operation, and up to 50% more runtime per charge. Battery and charger not included.
